You will join the significant R&D teams in Cambridge that create and improve the products behind the company’s rapid growth. Our DevOps Engineers work across a wide variety of projects and with a diverse toolset.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing code/scripts to integrate, configure and monitor new software features from other teams.
  • Test and Troubleshoot across several products/applications and how they interact.
  • Developing, testing and improving infrastructure deployment templates in AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Working within a small team, formed for particular tasks with some experienced members.
  • Being able to work on projects alone, learning new tools and skills to complete varied tasks.
  • Successfully prioritise how work fits into wider progress, as well as solving immediate challenges.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience writing software applications, ideally in Python.
  • Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef and Cloud Formation) and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) approaches.
  • Ideally experience with administration and scripting for Linux systems.
  • Good knowledge of basic networking and security concepts.
  • Be able to logically work through problems, correlating and investigating patterns in behaviour and logging.
  • Experience with continuous integration systems CI/CD (e.g., Git, GitLab CI, Packer, Jenkins)
  • Strong Git command-line skills.
