Are you a seasoned design professional with a flair for leadership and a passion for delivering exceptional projects? Look no further Our Tier 1 contractor is seeking a dynamic Senior Design Manager to join our esteemed team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the design process from inception to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the design team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the coordination of design activities, including feasibility studies, concept development, detailed design, and value engineering.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in the public sector.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in design management within the construction industry, preferably with a Tier 1 contractor.
  • Extensive knowledge of public sector procurement processes and regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
