As a specialist SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting our student's individual needs and helping them reach their full potential. Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Specialist SEN Tutor to join our team. As a SEN Tutor, you will work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs, including learning difficulties, developmental delays, and disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of each student. Responsibilities: Develop individualised learning plans and strategies based on student's needs and goals Assess student's strengths and weaknesses to identify areas for improvement Deliver engaging and interactive tutoring sessions that accommodate different learning styles Use appropriate teaching techniques and resources to support student's learning Adapt and modify teaching materials to suit student's abilities and interests Monitor and track student's progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student support Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in SEN educationRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Must be a qualified Teacher Proven experience working with students with special educational needs In-depth knowledge of various SEN conditions and appropriate teaching strategies Familiarity with the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process Strong interpersonal and communication skills Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with SEN Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organisational skills and attention to detailHow to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter highlighting their relevant experience and qualifications on here.
