The Assistant Investment Manager will support the Head of Sustainable Investment Management (Manager) building and maintaining a book of clients with a range of sustainable investment preferences.
Key Stakeholders within our business will include administration teams, Financial Advisers, the central research team, and external Stakeholders such as Independent Financial Advisers, their support staff, and our clients – which include charities, companies, and (primarily) individuals.
This role will entail administration, as well providing support in portfolio management functions, reporting, and maintaining client relationships.
The Assistant Investment Manager’s administration functions will include responsibility for the preparation of documents such as Client Agreements, Fact Finds and transfer forms.
Day to day tasks will include proactive monitoring of cash flows, ongoing transfers and record keeping as well as ensuring timely responses to stakeholder requests.
The Assistant Investment Manager will produce meeting packs/reports and ensure they, and information on the Client Portal, are reviewed for accuracy and prepared in a timely manner.
Support the Manager in the construction and maintenance of model and bespoke portfolios ensuring that they are always up to date and reflect the in-house investment views, adhering to approved investment lists and risk parameters.
Support the Manager implementing portfolio changes following quarterly investment committee meetings and, as they develop, will be expected to write investment commentary and proposals.
A long-term ambition of becoming a Private Client Investment Manager, and ultimately building and managing their own client base.
Experience within a Wealth Management business, ideally with broad exposure to all aspects of administration and client management.
Self-starter and an entrepreneurial mentality are essential for long term success in this role.
Salary: £40,000 + discretionary bonus
The role is a full-time position, based at least three days a week working from our offices near Monument in London
