THE FIRM

Our client is a leading private credit fund in the infrastructure and energy market, based in London. The team has a superb track record with investments in 16 European countries focusing on all infrastructure subsectors, such as energy transition, digital infrastructure, transport and logistics, social infrastructure, and utilities.

They are looking to add a Vice President to their team, who will focus on Energy investments. The role represents an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic platform with a long history of executing successful investments.

THE ROLE

As a Vice President, you will have the experience to be fully effective in executing transactions with minimal supervision, as well as supporting efforts in origination.

  • You will take a leading role in the evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and financing of transactions, as well as in the monitoring of portfolio companies.
  • Manage the complete transaction execution, including financial modelling analysis, undertaking due diligence, negotiation of key terms and documentation.
  • Assess the appropriate debt level and debt structure for the potential transaction.
  • Have responsibility for contributing to investment papers and responding to client and Investment Committee requests.
  • Proactively manage the existing investments by preparing and reviewing regular reports and managing waivers and approvals.
  • Assist with the management of internal and external counterparty and borrower relationships.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will recognise the entrepreneurial nature of the role and be dedicated to identifying, cultivating, and executing high-value Energy projects, driving the fund's strategy to expand the portfolio.

  • A minimum of 6-9 years of relevant energy and infrastructure project finance experience, ideally coming from a leading project finance bank, advisory boutique, debt fund, investment bank or corporate/sponsor/developer
  • Deep knowledge of and working experience in the energy sectors.
  • Top performing candidates with demonstrated track record of success.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative business analysis skills and ability to provide oversight and guidance to Associates for financial modelling and business analysis.
  • Team player with strong ambitions to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, collegiate environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to take initiative with limited supervision.
