Lancashire Constabulary's ICT Team is seeking an ICT Applications Information Assurance & Data Cleansing Assistant to be based at Hutton Headquarters. The site is accessible by public transport and there is also free car parking on site.

The CONNECT Information Assurance & Data Cleansing Assistant vacancy is required to cover normal core working hours (between 7am and 6pm) Monday to Friday, the vacancy allows flexible working with the opportunity of working from home for part of the week. The role of the job is to review cleanse and correct electronic data within CONNECT which is used by Lancashire Constabulary to record information in the following areas, intelligence, investigation management, case preparation and custody, by checking and updating existing records using all available constabulary resource.

To work as directed by the ICT Applications Information Assurance & Data Quality Team Leader to an agreed plan for data checking.

To act and assist as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) 9 for projects relating to Data Quality linked to the force record management system, providing knowledge of workflows and rules as applicable.

To ensure that correct data quality rules, methods and protocols are known, documented and disseminated to the wider constabulary.
