7twenty Professional Search has been retained by a long-established and award-winning contract cleaning services company as they seek to appoint a Business Development Manager in a new role for the business.
Having operated for over 35 years, our client provides a range of cleaning services to an extensive portfolio of clients, which includes numerous prestige offices, historical buildings, commercial premises, schools, local council premises, housing associations, apartment developments and nursing homes across Northern Ireland.
This is an exciting time for our client as they have embarked on their 5-year growth strategy and the appointment of a Business Development Manager is pivotal to the business achieving their ambitious plans and aspirations.
Reporting to the General Manager, The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of customer relationships and sales development across a range of target and existing customers.
The successful candidate will gain a thorough understanding of key customer requirements and develop long-term relationships to ensure the delivery of best-in-class, contract cleaning solutions in order to drive sustainable and profitable growth for the business.
The Business Development Manager will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to contribute throughout the tendering process and support the overall delivery of services.
Significant sales, business development or account management experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment and proven track record of success in the contract services or facilities management industry.
Full UK driving license.
It is desirable to have experience of selling contract cleaning services but not essential.
