Clinical Digital Transformation Lead-Band 7-37.Children and Family Services are looking for an inspiring and innovative leader to drive forward the 0-19 digital programme using transformational change to improve and modernise our service delivery to children, young people and families across Hampshire. The post will include managing the 5-19 ChatHealth services, for parents and young people.
Southern Health has developed a range of digital platforms for service users and staff we need to ensure staff feel confident and supported in using these tools in their everyday practice, and to promote this offer to our families and stakeholders.
We are looking for somebody with a strong clinical background and transformational expertise to work alongside our teams to develop our service and enhance service user experience. You will need to be able to support clinical service leads through workshops and training to develop their skills and knowledge in supporting staff in the use of digital technology.
Knowledge and experience of our clinical services will be a key requirement with a passion for using technology in leading service developments which demonstrate continuous quality improvement.
An important part of the role will be working alongside teams at their bases therefore regular travel across Hampshire is essential in order to deliver the key objectives of the role.

To support the smooth and successful implementation of organisational and 0-19 Children & Family service specific digital programmes in clinical settings working with the Children & Family Services senior team and staff and Trust Systems Support Team
Facilitate the introduction and improve the quality of ongoing use of systems and programmes including RiO EPR and RiO mobile, ChatHealth text messaging service and the new Parent Information Portal
Instruct and support clinical and administrative staff in their operation of systems to deliver high quality patient care that is cost effective, efficient and produces quality information required for reporting
Actively promote use of systems in the user community encouraging both data completeness and data quality
Work and engage with young people to develop the digital services in line with how they access services and health information

We are currently working closely with other NHS Trusts to integrate all our collective community, mental health, and learning disability services. Our new organisation, to be known as Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust, is set to launch in July 2024.
The transformation will happen in staggered stages Hampshire CAMHS, part of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust joined Southern Health in February 2024, with Isle of Wight NHS Trust mental health and community services transitioning in early May 2024. The final combination of Southern Health and Solent Trusts is anticipated to occur in July 2024, when the new organisation will be formed.
Our new Trust will continue to cater to the unique needs of different communities, making healthcare across the county more accessible, as well as offering staff more opportunities for career development, training and partnership working.

Project or Management experienceChange Management TrainingEducated to Masters Degree level or equivalent professional experience. Must have a clinical background with significant experience of working at a clinical level in the NHSAbility to demonstrate continuous professional development in a clinical areaCan demonstrate leadership for clinical service deliveryThorough knowledge of the 0-19 Children & Family servicesPrevious clinical managerial responsibility
Experienced in the use of current clinical systems EPR systems, digital solutions and social media platforms

Have knowledge of and confidence in promoting IT systems/initiatives in practice (specific product training will be provided)
Knowledge of national and organisational policies and procedures relating to data protection and information security
Full driving licence, daily access to a vehicle with the ability to travel independently across the Southern Health geography
Ability to support and deliver transformational projects
Ability to share newly implemented digital system and procedure knowledge with colleagues, through both informal and formal training/workshop sessions
Ability to produce written reports of a high-quality complying with Trust standards where applicable
Ability to present options and deliver user training including use of technical equipment
Self-sufficiency to allow others, rather than oneself, to receive credit for successful transformation, so that ownership for transformation is 'within the organisation'
Self-motivated with proven high standards of personal performance and an ability to engage and motivate others
Mobile working via an app
Ability to mentor junior staff.
