12 month fixed term contract for a generalist marketing executive Opportunity to join a high performing team Working with investment fund providers What's the purpose of your role? You will play a key role in nurturing our partnerships with fund providers. You'll work closely with Sales, owning the relationship with fund providers to deliver a tailored suite of content (including video, blog, online and in-person events) to our adviser audience. Internally this role is called Marketing Associate. Who we are Defaqto is one of the UK's most trusted sources of financial product and market intelligence. And in doing so we hope to raise industry standards, power consumer choice, and help the industry meet evolving customer needs. What you'll do You'll deliver exceptional marketing support under 5 key themes: Partner relationship management Conferences and awards events Online events CRM and content marketing Reporting What you'll need to succeed Skills Good interpersonal skills: ability to create strong rapport and build trust quickly Strong organisational skills: ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, prioritise work Attention to detail in all work (layout, grammar, consistency etc.) Proficiency with Microsoft365, Canva, WordPress Experience 3-5 years of marketing or account-management experience Experience in financial services preferred but not essential Approach to work Ambitious and humble in equal measure: this role will juggle admin tasks with high-profile strategic partner relationships Exceptional attention to detail and a pride in the quality of every piece of work that they are involved with Proactive, self-driven and able to work independently; also, comfortable collaborating as part of a team Flexible, adaptable to changing priorities and able to work under pressure when required Open to feedback and keen to learn Location This is a hybrid role spending 3 days a week working with colleagues. At least 1 day per week in our central London office where the team come together as a whole but the other days can be in Teddington or Haddenham. Right to Work Applicants must already hold a legal right to work in the UK without time restrictions. We are currently unable to provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
