As Store Manager , you’ll take the helm at our ASICS factory outlet in Portsmouth, coordinating and motivating a team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Eye-catching window displays, smiling shoppers and busy tills – you’ll be across it all, thanks to your keen commercial awareness and focus on delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll juggle everything from reporting performance to handling store overheads, all while inspiring your team to maintain the highest retail standards. Your decisions will have a direct impact on the business’ bottom line as you steer your store to success.

We’re looking for someone who acutely understands the workings of a retail space and how best to manage the people who work there. A candidate with a passion for customer experience and a watchful eye on profitability.

Reporting to James, Store Manager , as part of the role you’ll:

  • Maximise sales and profitability through effective store management and excellent customer service
  • Guide and support our staff to maintain high standards in customer service and sales.
  • Give clear directions to ensure our store achieves the brand standard in product presentation and merchandising.
  • Recruit, train, retain and develop a high-quality team.
  • Achieve brand standards in reporting, action planning and business performance endeavours.

What we’re looking for

  • Between four and six years’ retail experience.
  • Two to three years supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or two years’ additional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Track record in retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, people development and management.
  • Extensive experience in leading a top level of customer service in a brand retailer.
