About the position

As a Global Business Development Director, you will play a vital role in overseeing and cultivating our relationships with key clients in the Giga Factory battery market sector. Your primary responsibility will be to grasp the technical nuances of our products and services, crafting customized solutions through collaborative efforts with our technical experts. Alongside managing commercial interactions, you'll ensure smooth transitions to manufacturing, while actively seeking out and capitalizing on growth prospects within these key strategic accounts.

In more detail, as the Global Business Development Director, you will:

  1. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understand their needs, and ensure regular communication with key stakeholders.
  2. Understand client's technical requirements, collaborate with the technical team to tailor solutions, and stay updated on industry trends.
  3. Oversee all commercial aspects of account management, ensure accurate billing, and facilitate smooth order handover to the manufacturing team.
  4. Identify new opportunities within existing and potential accounts, collaborate on strategies for market expansion, and drive revenue growth.
  5. Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams, sharing insights and trends to shape our future offerings and strategies.

Profile:

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field; Master’s degree desirable.
  • Demonstrated success with at least 2 years in key account management, exceeding sales goals, and managing substantial accounts.
  • Extensive knowledge of business development, key account management, and technical aspects specific to Giga Factory applications.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, effective communication, and exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English.

Personal Qualities: To thrive in this role, we see that you have a proactive, customer-focused approach. Excellent multitasking skills in complex environments and strong teamwork abilities is essential. Additionally having a results-oriented mindset with a keen eye for quality and client satisfaction is highly desirable.
