Compass Associates are currently working with an independent provider of residential learning disability services & supported living to recruit for a commercially focused Operations Director. Our client operates a variety of care services supporting adults in mental health, learning and physical disabilities and further complex conditions such as neurological settings.
Reporting to the COO and the rest of the senior management team you will be operationally responsible for all of the learning disabilities, mental health and supported living services within this care organisation. You will be responsible for driving performance, assessing and understanding quality and ensure all services meet CQC, regulatory and legislative requirements and providing a clear strategic plan to facilitate future growth of the services.
Leading your team you will be required to provide confident effective line management of all residential and supported living teams, promoting an inclusive, care focused, high performance culture is essential in this role.
Proven experience as a commercial strategic operator of a large supported living/LD or adult social care portfolio.
- A proven track record of managing and supporting high performance, quality focused teams in the supported living or social care market.
- Proven experience in the health, social and housing care market.
- An understanding of wider government policy, impact to service users and challenges of the community
- Extensive experience in operational and/or financial management
