~ Due to continued growth, expansion and investment, there is now a position available for an experienced Quality Manager with a background in the Precision Engineering sector, able to manage the Quality department, and a team of 7 Quality Inspectors, measuring precision machined parts and components with various measuring equipment including manual measuring equipment and CMMs for a varied client base.
Customer Facing (open door policy for customers)
Route Core Analysis (RCA)
Knowledge of a subcontract, precision machining environment (ideally for the Aerospace and Defence sectors) being a specialist precision engineering / CNC machining facility, you will need to have experience of working in a subcontract environment and working knowledge of AS accreditations (AS9100).
Customer facing as the Quality Manager you will be working with a large customer base and therefor need to be able to deal with a lot of different clients.
Experienced with Manual & CMM measuring equipment for precision machined parts & components.
Experience of working with manual measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, gauges and calipers.
