We are looking for a proactive individual to join a fitness studio with a real work hard/play hard approach, who has an eye for detail and a desire to get behind the company's success and grow as they grow.

As Sales leader, you will be responsible for the retention of existing clients and the onboarding of new clients, working closely with Management and the Coaches.

Reporting to: Studio Director/General Manager

The Role...

  • Ensure maximum profitability of the studio.
  • Assess sales opportunities for month-by-month growth.
  • Monitor and track all membership results and activity levels on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis using the systems provided.
  • Help develop the Sales Strategy, inclusive of the website, socials, and campaigns, staying up to date with the latest competition & trends across the industry.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, e.g., Local Events, Corporate Events, and Discounts.
  • Manage the pipeline and follow up on new client leads - currently waitlisted at 600.
  • Be aware of market trends and competitors.
  • Raise the company profile by attending expositions and networking events.
  • Be knowledgeable about products and services offered by the business.
  • Promote/train the correct sales culture across the business.
  • Ensure all staff (Management, Wellness Consultants) are fully briefed on any new services, promotions, or campaigns.
  • Help educate team members on best business practices and techniques for increasing sales and retention opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed tours of the space for prospective members and assess their suitability for joining the community. All non-compliances are to be reported to the Studio Director/General Manager.
  • Maintain good relationships with all staff.
  • Maintain a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients to grow the business.
  • Present findings to the Studio Director/General Manager.
  • Comply with regulations and laws of business development.

The Person...

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of delivering and over-achieving against targets. You will be used to nurturing, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • The ability to see sales and cost control opportunities.
  • Exceptional service standards and customer focus.
  • Self-motivated and resilient with good organisational and administrative skills. A natural problem solver and doer. Not fazed by rejection
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Internet).
  • Commercial acumen - ability to understand potential member goals and motivations for joining the company, with the ability to adapt your sales technique to close them. Staying on top of the pipeline to ensure you maximise conversion opportunities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Well presented with great communication skills.
  • Self-sufficient, enthusiastic team player and contributor.
  • Confidence to deal with members and senior level managers on a daily basis and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Self-driven with a positive attitude and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
