Role Description

This is a remote contract role for an Associate (freelance) Social Value Consultant. The Associate Social Value Consultant will be responsible for delivering projects and working with clients to develop and implement social value strategies, conducting social value assessments using models like Social Return on Investment (SROI) and Local Multiplier and providing support to embed social impact and value reporting and management within organisations.

Experience/Qualification

  • Experience in social value measurement and reporting
  • Experience in conducting social impact assessments using models like Social Return on Investment (SROI)
  • Stakeholder engagement and consultation (in person and online)
  • Strategic and operational management experience delivering services, social value strategies and organisational change
  • Developing meaningful social value strategies
  • Experience with social accounting models like Local Multiplier Effect and Social Contract
  • Creating social value measurement frameworks and toolkits
  • Insight, knowledge and experience in Corporate Social Responsibilities and/or Triple bottom-line
  • Developing and delivering training
  • Undertaking social value audits and assessments
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Mentoring and coaching of managers and leaders
  • Experience working with diverse organisations and sectors is a plus
