As our new Payroll Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining and inputting all payroll related information into a computerised payroll system in a precise and accurate manner. You will be responsible for the whole payroll function being performed efficiently and effectively.

Input monthly/weekly payroll, bonus and overtime data into the Payroll System in accordance with statutory and contractual obligations
Maintain employee absence records on a weekly basis and calculate statutory and occupational sickness payments for payroll input
Update and monitor the monthly pension schedule ready for payment and raise payments for any earning arrestment’s
Monitor and process all staffing changes including starters, transfers, leavers and other amendments to salaries and employee data in compliance with company policy and payroll requirement
Advise employees and managers on payroll issues as first point of contact for enquiries
Send the payroll for payment to pre-defined timescales
Assist with other payroll related tasks on an ad hoc basis

Microsoft Word and Excel)
•Knowledge and experience of PAYE and NI Contribution calculations
•Knowledge of Statutory Payments and Deductions including SSP, SMP, PAYE, NI etc
•Experience of working with a computerised payroll system
•Experience of Workday and ADP systems
