Our client, a global leader in chemicals production, seeks a motivated Sustainability Specialist to join their Acetyls team at their Hull site. As part of a renowned petrochemical company, you'll contribute to essential production processes serving diverse industries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement global sustainability plans, including Net Zero roadmaps and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Manage environmental, energy, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Lead Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) studies.
Oversee commercial aspects such as Emission Trading Scheme (ETS) and Climate Change Levy obligations.
Stay abreast of sustainability developments and legislation, engaging stakeholders to advocate for their agenda.Requirements:

Minimum 2:1 master's degree in chemistry or mechanical, chemical, electrical and instrumentation engineering disciplines.
Proactive, driven, with excellent communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
