As the Network Manager you will have responsibility for designing, implementing and maintaining our organisations network infrastructure. You will be responsible for the line management of the Network engineers and will be the expert for any escalations. Responsible for line management and task management of the Network Engineers.\To be an escalation point for the Network Engineers and an expert on the technologies within the New Look Infrastructure.\Responsible for the management, deployment and maintenance of the organisations network infrastructure, including all voice, data and network infrastructure, switches, routers, firewalls, Load Balancers and wireless access points. Develop and implement cloud networking strategies for public, private and hybrid cloud environments. Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets and security groups on cloud platforms e.g. Microsoft Azure.\Implement and manage network security measures, to include Checkpoint and Cisco Firewalls, Cloud Security, Site to Site VPNs and remote access solutions. Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud networking, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality and availability.\Managing the Network Engineers to provide technical support and guidance to end-users and the IT support team; ensuring they resolve IT infrastructure-related incidents, service requests and problems in a timely and efficient manner in line with Business requirements.\Overall responsibility for IT infrastructure-related problem diagnosis, implementing problem resolution or prevention measures as appropriate. This is to include audit, monitoring, capacity management, planning, security, patching etc.\The Technical expert for all Networks related activities, making recommendations on future operational enhancements or investments. Participating in capacity planning and network expansion projects to support the company's strategic direction.\Responsible for ensuring the Team maintain IT infrastructure support technical documentation and they provide accurate, relevant documents in a timely manner.\Be responsible for the team's design, deployment and maintenance of robust and scalable network architectures both on-premises and in the cloud.\Be a part of the Networks team providing 24\/7 on call and out of hours support to the business.\Ensuring capacity, availability, security and service support requirements are considered in all IT infrastructure changes and that all changes meet the agreed service acceptance criteria.\Ensuring Asset and Configuration Management principles, processes and procedures are applied.\Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution in the event of network failures.\Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\Proven experience in a Network Environment and leading a team of Engineers.\Experience of Managing and Implementing Large network Projects\r
\Skilled at complex Network Design\r
\Experience of Cloud networking and Security.\In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP\/IP, DNS, DHCP, layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP and BGP\r
\Configuration and deployment of Cisco hardware (Catalyst and Nexus) in an enterprise setting\r
\Configuration and deployment of firewall appliances and understanding of their full functionality.\Configuration, deployment and management of wireless devices and an understanding of wireless communications.\Proficiency in Network administration, monitoring and troubleshooting mainly using Cisco systems, including Cisco ISE and DNAC\r
\Experience with network security best practices and technologies.\ITIL qualification (Desirable)\r
