Manufacturing Materials Planner

The role will be reporting to the Planning Manager, this role supports the procurement, planning and stock management of all aluminium to ensure consistent flow into the business to effectively meet demand. Assess material demand in line with the production plan and the finished good stock holding policy
Monitor inventory levels against agreed targets
Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy
Supplier performance monitoring
Monitor the production plan material demand and liaise with transport to make sure that metal is called back as required from third party storage
Create regular statistical reports and analysis and update others in the organisation
SAP Knowledge desirable
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems
Salary: Up to £33,000 DOE + Bonus
