We are assisting in the recruitment of a Materials Controller for a permanent, full-time position, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.


As a Materials Controller, your key responsibilities will include identifying and mitigating supply risks, managing the delivery schedules of Full Container Loads (FCLs), ensuring timely processing of freight-related invoices, and collaborating with third-party logistics providers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Issue Purchase Orders and expedite component orders to meet delivery timelines and support production and after-sales services.
  • Create manual orders for components not covered by MRP.
  • Evaluate vendor delivery performance and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Participate in supplier and departmental meetings to set and review targets and actions.
  • Timely identification and reporting of risks to the continuity of component supply.
  • Assist other departments to align with company objectives.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A to C, including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Experience in procurement and familiarity with MRP systems.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
