Job Title - Toolmaker
Salary - Up to 32k
Location - Peterborough
Hours - Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm
Purpose of the Toolmaker role:
Our client is looking for a Toolmaker to be able to work on injection moulding tools to a high standard.
Main duties and responsibilities of a Toolmaker:

  • Ensure all duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner within the parameters of current Health and Safety Legislation (HASAW Act 1974)
  • To maintain mould tools.
  • To be able to use the overhead crane safely. (Training will be given)
  • To work the required hours when needed to ensure production demands are met.
  • Undertake any other duties as necessary to fulfil the needs of the job and its objective as and when requested by the Tool Room Manager / Supervisor.
  • To work on any of the production sites as and when required.


Experience/knowledge requirements for a Toolmaker:

  • Previous experience as a toolmaker.
  • Able to work from Drawings.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Self - motivated individual.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail.
