Full Job Description Join us in the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team. Wemaintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse &Delivery Network. We are looking for a motivated technician whoenjoys working in a team. The job is about maintaining our equipmentin a safe way to a high standard. Focusing on planned preventativemaintenance you will engage in mitigation of risks by proactivelyaddressing and resolving issues. Raising the availability and qualityof the equipment is the daily job. Our technicians focus in on ouroperational team, their customers, with support from the team andtheir leaders. Shift Pattern: This role includes working innon-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekendsKey job responsibilities
• Put health & safety best practicesfirst in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health &safety standards and regulations.
• Carry out planned preventativemaintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
•React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected partiesand work efficiently to fix the issue.
• Support continuousimprovement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback andsuggestions for improvements through the line manager.
• Providehigh levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
•Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
• Management of contractors. We are open to hiring candidates towork out of one of the following locations: Enfield, GBR
BASICQUALIFICATIONS • Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanicaldisciplines.
• Experience of planned preventative maintenancesystems.
• Experience fault finding within MHE (Material HandlingEquipment)/Automation systems.
• Experience in interpreting bothmechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience of conveyormaintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
• Served a fullEngineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum ofNVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City &Guilds Level 3, SVQ/IVQ,)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Experience ofhigh voltage switching.
• Experience of sortation machines.
•Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
•Experience of print and apply machines.
