Role: TEST TECHNICIAN Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire, UK Salary: Up to £24,000 pro rata Hours: 22.5 hrs per week, flexible working hours We have a part-time vacancy for a Test Technician to work in our clients furniture testing department. This role is part-time with flexible working hours to be agreed. Responsibilities As a Test Technician you will be required to carry out the following:
- Preparation and conditioning of furniture prior to testing
- Testing and assisting with physical testing of mattresses, cabinets, tables and
- Planning and agreeing testing schedules with customers and Head of Furniture
- Completing and maintaining training records
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good computer skills - word & Excel
- Able to work to deadlines
- Be able to follow instructions accurately & have a good attention to detail
- Demonstrable experience of organisation and planning skills
- Good time management and scheduling skills
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Flexibility, tenacity and a 'can-do' attitude
