Mechanical Design Engineer Our client, a reputable and innovative company in the engineering industry, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining cutting-edge designs while adhering to good engineering development practices. Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Utilise their expertise to deliver outstanding results across all projects, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
  • Employ 3D CAD software, particularly Autodesk Inventor and Vault, to create and maintain designs, translating conceptual ideas into tangible and functional products.
  • Design and develop new products and improve existing ones, aligning them with internal and external customer specifications.
  • Provide valuable mechanical product design expertise to contribute to the success of projects and overall company growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in utilizing 3D CAD software, with a strong command of Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in implementing good engineering development practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, displaying excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive mindset, seeking opportunities to enhance company policies and procedures through innovative ideas and problem-solving.
