The ideal candidate will have strong leadership in managing engineering teams with a focus on product design and delivery, plus experience in engineering processes and customer engagement. Power electronics experience is a plus but not required. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the engineering team, ensuring project delivery within budget and schedule.
- Drive the transition to a configure-to-order model, promoting modular design and process improvements.
- Oversee product design from concept to execution, aligning with customer expectations.
- Implement and optimise engineering processes in line with governance standards.
- Act as the technical lead in customer engagements, supporting bids and project delivery.
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience managing engineering teams, focusing on product design and delivery.
- Strong project management, leadership, and customer engagement skills.
- Experience with engineering governance and process optimisation.
- Experience leading teams through business transformations.
- Knowledge of power electronics is beneficial but not essential.
