About Our Client

Leading leisure operator looking to recruit an experienced PM within their progressive real estate team to manage the roll out of new projects and manage the pre-contract element of the process. With close to 150 projects across the UK and Europe the company possesses a strong project pipeline plus an ambition to double the size of the business in the coming years.

Job Description
  • Scheme design - Preparation of schemes in line with brand and product requirements. Engagement with other departments to ensure appropriate review and sign off.
  • Budgets - Own and maintain budget from sign off approval through to project delivery.
  • Permits and approvals - Manage the process of delivering permit and building approvals. Working with consultants and specialists to deliver acceptable planning approvals.
  • Supply chain - Working with wider team to ensure availability of appropriate supply chain needed for annual project delivery and reviewed on a rolling quarterly basis.
  • Procurement - Lead process of full project procurement including consultants, contractors and specialist contractors.
  • Compliance and Governance - Award contracts appropriate for territory and in line with acceptable business strategy.
  • Risk Management - Ensure projects are fully assessed from a risk management perspective and risk profiles shared with Development Director and PMs to ensure risks are mitigated as far as possible and reviewed on a regular basis.
  • Programme - Carry out regular reviews with the PMs to ensure that project programmes are aligned with any master programme developed and with business's expectations.
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be an experienced construction professional who has been involved in multi-site development roll out plans in the leisure/retail sectors, preferably with European experience. Ability to set process and standards and ensure all team members deliver to exacting standards. Can integrate easily into a team as well as being self-motivated & sufficient whilst demonstrating leadership qualities.
