FedBucks is a GP federation in Buckinghamshire covering 47 GP practices and a population of nearly 500,000 people. We deliver urgent care services plus planned care such as gynaecology, ENT and cardiology. We have grown rapidly in the last 4 years by putting patients at the heart of our services and providing solutions which support great patient care.
We create services and support to bridge the gap between primary and secondary care. We are passionate about building high quality services by developing nurturing our valued team. We are a partner in the Buckinghamshire integrated care partnership and we are keen to support local primary care and strengthen the links with the hospital, council and community providers and organisations.
Role Description
This is a full or part time role for Advanced Clinical Practitioners at FedBucks. We have sites in both High Wycombe and Aylesbury.
As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with FedBucks, you will be responsible for seeing and treating same day urgent primary care presentations. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work autonomously, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- A recognised qualification as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner
- Registration with the appropriate professional body (NMC/HCPC)
- Experience working as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner or in a similar role
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge
- Ability to work autonomously and make independent clinical decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Experience working in primary care or general practice is desirable
- Level 6/7 Illness and Injury Qualification
- Telephone triage experience
