This Programme Director will be instrumental in building the necessary infrastructure and ensuring seamless customer onboarding, smart metering, and service alignment.

Contract Assignment Details:

  • Location: London (Onsite 2-3 days per week, with flexibility for remote working)
  • Duration: Initial 6-9 month
  • Day Rate: £TBC p/day
  • Start Date: November start which will be subject to standard onboarding and background checks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer onboarding & set up
  • Network installation
  • Smart metering alignment
  • Managed service integration
  • Provide oversight and management of the entire customer delivery environment, requiring strong ITIL experience and familiarity with service desk operations, technical delivery, supplier partnering, and client onboarding.
  • Drive cultural change, particularly in client engagement approaches.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the broader organisational goals.

Experience Required to be shortlisted:

  • Utilities sector experience essential , with a preference smart metering programme experience .
  • Proven expertise in leading large-scale programme delivery, with experience in customer onboarding, service delivery, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, service desk operations, and managed service environments.
  • Experience in supplier and client onboarding.
  • Ability to drive cultural change and promote a collaborative approach to client engagement.
  • Proven track record in delivering similar programmes within utilities, especially around the deployment of smart meters and water customer delivery services.

Additional Details: Successful candidates will be subject to standard financial and criminal background checks.
