This establishment has an opportunity for a PASTRY CHEF to join the dedicated and passionate team where you will assist the Executive Chef in the development, preparation & service of all desserts, breads and sweet treats.
As Pastry Chef de Partie you must ensure the highest standards are maintained so that they can continue to surprise and delight customers. They are looking for a Pastry Chef de Partie with knowledge of modern techniques, enthusiasm and passion, with experience in hotel and/or restaurant environments. Main Duties for this Pastry Chef role are:
Liaise with the Executive Chef on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the Pasty section of the kitchen
Ensure all food production is carried out to standards and ensure complete customer satisfaction
Ensure accurate records are kept at all times relating to the food production and wastage, for all service periods
Ensure that all foods are labelled, stored and handled in accordance with Health and Safety requirements
Organise the food service area to ensure that the correct portions are served at all times
Menus must be followed to ensure all financial targets are achieved
Ensure that all costed menus are fully followed to ensure financial targets are met
Working Hours for this Pastry Chef vacancy are:
Monday to Sunday
Rota basis
Mainly Straight Shifts
Days and start times vary according to shifts

This is a permanent position.
Should also possess NVQ level 1 and 2 or equivalent, and hygiene certificate.
