Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Programmer to join our dynamic team at Davethan Technologies Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing new computer codes, debugging programs, and developing security systems to protect users from hacks and viruses. Additionally, the Programmer will play a crucial role in training users on updated programs or hardware and ensuring compliance with data protection laws and security regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write new computer codes to fit existing software, apps, or programs.
  • Source existing code from open code libraries or databases developed by the company.
  • Thoroughly test computer programs and recommend updates or changes before release.
  • Train new users to use updated programs or hardware.
  • Debug computer programs experiencing faults and glitches.
  • Develop security systems and procedures to protect users from hacks and programs from viruses.
  • Keep up-to-date on new developments and advances in coding and software development.
  • Ensure that all code and software comply with data protection laws and security regulations.
  • Balance workday between multiple projects and respond immediately to tech support requests from staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Programmer or Software Developer.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with data protection laws and security regulations is a plus.
