Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our mainstream primary school. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be passionate about supporting their learning and development. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring that all children can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, helping them engage with classroom activities and the curriculum.
Support students with a range of needs, including learning difficulties, speech and language delays, autism spectrum conditions, and physical or sensory impairments.
Help manage behavior in line with the school's policies, using positive reinforcement strategies.
Attend relevant training and professional development sessions related to SEN.Experience working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs.
Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with children.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment.
A relevant qualification in education, SEN, or childcare (desirable).Competitive hourly rate of £14-£15.
