We are working with a diverse and vibrant primary school in the Borough of Southwark. Based in the heart of Bermondsey, this school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team for an ASAP start. They value diversity in both their pupils and staff and welcome candidates for this SEN Teaching Assistant role from all backgrounds. Support the classroom teacher in supporting SEN pupils.
Assist in planning and implementing activities in line with EHCPs.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Experience: Previous experience working with SEN children.
Understanding of SEN, including ASD and ADHD.
Experience working with children with SEN within a school setting.
