We are currently supporting a client with their search for a Head of Compensation & Benefits.
The Head of Compensation & Benefits will develop and manage compensation and benefits programs across all global operations. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of compensation structures, benefits strategies, and market trends.
As the Head of Compensation & Benefits, you will play a critical role in attracting, retaining, and motivating a diverse workforce while ensuring their compensation and benefits offerings remain competitive and aligned with their business objectives.
Compensation Strategy:
Develop and lead the company's compensation strategy in alignment with business objectives, market trends, and industry standards.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to ensure the organisation's global compensation approach is competitive and relevant.
Design, implement, and manage job evaluation and grading systems to ensure internal equity.
Oversee the development and administration of employee benefits programs, including health and wellness, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
Performance Management:
Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to link compensation and benefits programs with performance management, recognising and rewarding high performers.
Develop incentive and bonus structures that drive employee motivation and support the achievement of business goals.
Ensure all compensation and benefits programs adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
Keep abreast of changes in employment laws, tax regulations, and other relevant compliance matters, and adjust programs accordingly.
Develop clear and effective communication strategies to educate colleagues about compensation and benefits programs.
Provide training to HR teams, line managers, and colleagues to ensure understanding and proper utilisation of these programs.
Oversee relationships with external vendors, such as benefits providers and compensation consultants.
Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and make recommendations for improvements.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyse, and interpret compensation and benefits data to identify trends, provide insights, and make informed decisions.
Prepare regular reports for executive leadership on the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs.
Lead and manage a small team responsible for compensation, benefits, and related functions.
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
