Exciting Opportunity for a Skilled Manufacturing Engineer/Production Engineer in Cambridge
Are you a talented Manufacturing Engineer/Production Engineer with 3+ years of experience, looking to take your career to the next level? Lynx is working with a company looking for a Manufacturing Engineer/Production Engineer to join the team in Cambridge.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimising production processes, ensuring high quality, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update product specifications, BOMs, and work instructions in PLM system
- Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and support New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Provide technical support to manufacturing suppliers and internal production teams
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to enhance product quality and reliability
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role, preferably in electronics
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement
- Experience with PLM systems, BOM management, and ECRs
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
