Responsibilities Project Cost Management: Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle. Contract Administration: Manage NEC contracts, including preparation, negotiation, and administration. Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate project risks related to cost, contracts, and commercial aspects. Procurement: Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials, subcontractors, and services. Claims and Disputes: Handle claims, variations, and disputes arising from contracts. Team Leadership: Lead a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and mentorship. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication. Qualifications RICS Chartered Surveyor: Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is desirable. NEC Expertise: Proficiency in working with NEC forms of contract, including NEC3 or NEC4. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
