Lead Electronic Design Engineer Role is based on site in Somerset – potential hybrid working and flexible working patterns
Salary is Dependent on Experience, plus generous benefits including relocation allowance (if required), Company pension and life insurance, wellness and health programmes and a lunchtime finish on a Friday

Great culture – all working together as a team. What skills and experience will the Lead Electronic Design Engineer need?
Significant knowledge (degree or other appropriate qualification essential) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other relevant discipline
Considerable demonstrable experience of leading design work in a similar manufacturing business
Commercial experience e.g. negotiation techniques, supply chain management, volume manufacturing, customer relationship development, etc.
Embedded & power electronic design, schematic capture, PCB layout & simulation, using Altium Designer
Microprocessor, Analogue & digital design
Ability to diagnose and mitigate EMC/EMI problems
DFM, DFT, Power supply design, PWM experience, High voltage design
interactions of mechanics, electrical and computer related problems
Experienced in consumer products, power electronics, portable devices, power tools etc.
Best practice design guides, rules, manufacturing & assembly techniques
Hands on testing & evaluation using a range of test equipment
