The role Orbit are excited to announce that we are looking to recruit a permanent Social Media Coordinator in to our Digital Marketing Team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and support of Orbit’s digital channels and owned digital environments with a distinct focus on social media, online reputation, monitoring and content management. This role is part of People and Strategy where you'll help us to build a culture and brand that people want to be part of. What you'll achieve In this role of Social Media Coordinator you will grow social media use and engagement amongst Orbit’s customer base and ensure social media activity creates value back to the customer. Your key responsibilities will be to: Manage social and online reputational platforms, such as Meta, LinkedIn, X and Trustpilot daily Create and capture social content including short format videos and designed assets as well as edits when required Develop and adapt content for the target audience and adjust the style in line with the channel and format Manage the paid media activity on social media, especially on LinkedIn and reach new targeted B2B audiences with key content Lead on content creation and copywriting, working with subject matter experts as appropriate Ensure social media performance is on track, hitting and exceeding KPI’s Produce monthly reports and share with the business to build an understanding of the positive impact of social media, social media customer service and online reputation for Orbit What you'll bring In this role it is essential that you have an outstanding understanding of social media channels including Meta, LinkedIn, X, Trustpilot and YouTube as well as social media management tools and analytics. Essential skills Experience in social media marketing and communications Experience of editing, writing and producing engaging content for social media Strong copywriting skills and ability to tailor writing styles for different audiences Accuracy and attention to detail for both content management and reporting Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong organisational and interpersonal skills Why Orbit?
