Grant Thornton's Technology Risk Services team (TRS) provides the advice necessary to help clients manage risk associated with their use of technology. TRS is part of Grant Thornton's Business Risk Services (‘BRS’) department, who provide internal audit and risk advisory services to the FTSE 250, large and complex Corporates, international and major charities and not-for-profit organisations, and central government departments.
You will be responsible for managing and delivering a number of IT internal audit engagements in a manner that exceeds client expectations.

As a contractor you will be expected to be able to 'hit the ground running' allowing Grant Thornton or a Client to continue 'Business as Usual'.

It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
Experience of working in a Internal Audit Department as an IT Auditor (or may be working in professional services firm providing IT Internal Audit services)
IT Audit experience – preferably in a “hands on” role leading the delivery of IT audits from the planning phase to the reporting stage.
Good understanding of IT General Controls – for example: IT Risk and Governance, Identity and Access Management, IT Development, IT Change, IT Disaster Recovery
Experience of performing audits of Cloud Computing, Cyber Security and Operational resilience at a Financial Services organisation is highly desirable
A good track record of performing IT audits over IT Projects & Programmes (inc Agile), Cloud & Virtualisation technologies, IT transformations, System Implementations, Digital, and Third-Party Management Arrangements
Cyber security related qualifications
Other relevant qualifications, including ITIL, COBIT, PRINCE2, ACA, etc.
