Job overviewThis is an exciting position which will involve overseeing the key elements to the weekly Corporate Welcome / Trust Induction and welcoming new starters to the Trust and helping to embed the Trust core values.
Main duties of the jobThe role will involve liaising with departments such as Recruitment, Resuscitation Team, Fire Training Team and the Executive Team to organise the weekly Corporate Welcome / Trust Induction programme and the preparation of materials and communications for this event.
The successful candidate will then take part in running the face to face Corporate Welcome / Trust Induction event each week along with other staff from the department.
The role also encompasses management of the small Study Leave team and associated activities.

Our new acute hospital, the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH), opens in 2024 and will provide care to our local population from first class, purpose-built premises.As a result, the base of this role may change to MMUH from 2024 (or beyond). Person specification Qualifications- CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience
- Professional training qualification or preparedness to undertake within first year in post
- GCSE or equivalent in English
- Willing to obtain further qualifications as and when required
- EExtensive administrative experience working at a senior level supporting senior managers
- Experience of training, design and delivery of a range of subjects to diverse groups
- Previous analytical experience/assessment of process
- Previous experience in developing systems and processes
- Identifying and prioritising own workload
- Analysing data and producing reports.
- Recent experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a Learning and Development Environment
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience of supporting elearning/ blended learning
- Ability to supervise and develop other members of the team
- Good planning and time management skills
