Job Overview: They are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join the team in the North West. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning and scheduling activities for a variety of commercial schemes, contributing to the successful delivery of projects within specified timelines and budgets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, incorporating all relevant factors and milestones.
Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information for effective planning.
Identify critical paths and potential bottlenecks, offering solutions to ensure project timelines are met.
Resource Allocation:

Coordinate with project managers to allocate resources efficiently, considering manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
Optimise resource utilization to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and delays in project schedules and develop contingency plans.
Regularly review and update risk assessments to ensure proactive management of project challenges.
Communication:

Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed of project schedules and any changes.
Prepare and present project progress reports to management and clients.
Technology Utilization:

Utilise construction planning software and tools effectively to enhance accuracy and efficiency in project scheduling.
Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in construction planning.
Quality Assurance:

Work closely with the quality assurance team to integrate quality control measures into project schedules.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Construction Planner in a similar role.
Proficient in construction planning software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
