Our automation technology helps our customers accelerate the migration of complex applications and workloads to the cloud.
We are looking for an experienced Managing Director in London, UK to work exclusively on Snowflake Cloud opportunities in the region.
What you'll be doing:
- Reporting directly to the CEO of Next Pathway, your primary mandate is to develop and grow Next Pathway's business in Europe, specifically in regards to migrating legacy workloads to Snowflake
- Achieve sales quotas on a quarterly and annual basis by developing account plans, strategies, executive engagement, building relationships with Snowflake Account Executives and Snowflake Professional Services teams
- Be an expert on Next Pathway’s product platform
- Work harmoniously with Snowflake Account Teams and Professional Services to close business
- Activities include, the preparation of sales presentations, product demos, and proposals to prospects
- Manage opportunities from initiation to closure
- Work with internal technical teams to develop pre-canned demos based on needs of prospective client
- Work with internal finance and executive leadership to develop pricing strategies for proposals
- Register opportunities and manage updates using sales tracking software
- Respond to RFPs
- Develop and pitch compelling proposals to clients and partners
- Develop statements of work
- Once a contract is signed, arrange internal kick-off meting to ensure internal teams are engaged to deliver to the scope of work
- Understand competitive pressures and develop mitigation strategies to win work in the area
- Oversee and manage the code in-take process and the creation of fee/cost estimates for cloud migrations
- Manage the Snowflake partner relationship in London to promote and drive revenue for Next Pathway
Skills/Experience
- 10+ year’s sales experience selling to enterprise-level accounts
- Consistently exceeded multi-million dollar annual revenue targets within a list of named accounts
- Demonstrable sales experience within at least one of the following spaces: Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Cloud
- Extensive experience negotiating, navigating multiple stakeholders, and closing business within large, enterprise organizations
- Extensive experience with solution-based selling, experience managing long, complex sales cycles and navigating large client organizations
- Experience building and maintaining relationships across your clients, including C-level executives
- Experience prospecting and engaging with Snowflake to consistently generate pipeline and ensure healthy quarterly pipeline coverage
- Proven ability to build and execute comprehensive account plans for your territory, develop a deep understanding for your client’s business, and achieve success for your clients, Snowflake and Next Pathway
- Willingness to travel to clients, conduct onsite meetings, and attend Snowflake partner events on a regular basis
- Excellent presentation, communication, and listening skills
- Ability to provide open, honest and respectful feedback contributing to an inclusive work environment
- The ideal candidate for this role lives in London and has experience with the Snowflake platform
