An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated pharmacist to join the fabulous North East London (NEL) ICB Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation team. The team works as a multi-disciplinary group of individuals, who operate with a broad range of skills and experience. We are key enablers for collaboration and integration across all health and social care partners in the NEL Integrated Care System.As a team player you will be supported to fully commit to this way of working, especially with regards to transformational work with medicines and pharmacy.
The NEL Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation team is working to achieve equitable access and outcomes of medicines for local people across North East London, working with a wide range of stakeholders and professionals to deliver outputs for our residents that support cost effective, safe prescribing with access to evidence-based medicines.
We are seeking a skilled pharmacist, ideally with good project management skills and experience, to spearhead our new NEL Pharmacy Self Care Service. As the lead pharmacist for this service, you will be responsible for establishing this NEL wide community pharmacy delivered service and will have a pivotal role in the monitoring and ongoing evaluation of this service. The role will be focused on improving access to self-care with the aim of reducing inequity in access for both advice and treatment of pharmacy delivered self-care services.
