Operational Supplier Manager – Within Operations

Hybrid Working in Manchester, London, or Nottingham Offices. Competitive Salary plus benefits.

Responsibilities:

  1. Be responsible for supplier performance (including budget, risk management and reporting) and will build senior relationships with suppliers, representing DCC’s interest and driving improvement.
  2. Drive supplier performance management and performance rectification for suppliers, reporting to the Head of Supplier Delivery.
  3. Have a deep understanding of the contracts and DCC’s overall commercial position in relation to licence obligations.
  4. Support other parts of the business in their engagements with suppliers and ensure continual focus on customer outcomes.
  5. Be an escalation point for any performance and service-related risks and issues.
  6. Work with other parts of DCC to understand end customer experience of service delivery and use this in dialogue with suppliers to drive good supplier performance.
  7. Work seamlessly with Commercial and other parts of DCC to deliver end-end contract management.
  8. Be responsible for ensuring that supplier performance meets performance obligations and service level agreements.
  9. Maintain deep knowledge of the supplier’s business performance against contract and licence condition.
  10. Identify and deliver performance improvement plans and rectification of performance issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience and excellent track record of delivering in a service-based contract environment (essential) and ideally within a Telco/Energy or other relevant sector (desirable).
  • Proven experience in building relationships and leveraging these to drive continuous improvement and ongoing value for money.
