Healthy Minds Lincolnshire provides early and preventative emotional wellbeing interventions for children, young people and their families across Lincolnshire. First established in 2017, the service has provided intervention, advice or guidance to over 5,500 children & young people across the County.


It will also involve leading evidence based groups & workshops to children & young people and parents/carers, as well as brief 1-1 interventions.

Healthy Minds Lincolnshire work with children and young people on a variety of emotional wellbeing needs including but not limited to: anxiety, low mood, self-harm, self-esteem, and anger. You will provide emotional wellbeing support to child and young people including their parents/carers and wider support network. Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health services and a number of learning disability, autism and social care services in the county of Lincolnshire. You will provide emotional wellbeing support to child and young people including their parents/carers and wider support network. oRelevant degree or equivalent experience e.g. nursing, psychology, education, wellbeing practitioner, OT etc
Post qualification courses in childcare practice or therapeutic work with children and families.
Good understanding of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and/or Solution Focused Therapy.
Training qualification.
Significant experience of working with people with mental health needs, including those with emotional wellbeing needs.
Experience of providing training to professionals and children and young people (or able to demonstrate aptitude).
Good knowledge of universal children's services.

Significant experience of working with children and young people who have mental health or emotional wellbeing needs.
Local knowledge of children's services.
Experience of delivering training or group interventions.
Sound knowledge of Child Care legislation and Safeguarding
Good knowledge of current local and national strategies concerning Children's emotional wellbeing, Children's Services, and mental health
Good understanding of child and adolescent development and risk management of young people in crisis
Ability to work in partnership with universal services to provide the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
Sound knowledge of clinical/risk assessment and understanding of Information Governance principles.
Ability to be creative and adapt interventions to different age groups and abilities.

Able to travel around the county independently and in a timely manner
