We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a pharmaceutical company in Ayrshire to support the management and execution of projects.

The project will require new fit out of facility, replacement of infrastructure providing the facility (HVAC, WIFI loop etc) and will also include automated fill line which is currently manual.

|The assignment will require leading the project as the Project Manager and working with both the Site based team and the wider global team to support successful execution. The project is currently in the scoping phase.

Scope of Position:

  • Lead & drive multi-disciplinary teams (Production, Quality, Validation, Planning, EHS)
  • Manage complex projects using a designed project model to develop necessary milestones and deliver success including adherence to required time, quality and budget restrictions
  • Communicate project activities with necessary internal functional groups and site leadership
  • Direct responsibility and accountability to deliver project
  • Specific activities include: Planning project activities, controlling financial budgets and facilitation of regular suppliers meetings, internal progress meetings and providing meeting notes
  • Manage external contractors
  • Work with Procurement and sourcing group to ensure correct strategy
  • Risk & opportunity management of project
  • Managing purchases through SAP system
  • Full schedule and cost management
  • Working with site Quality & Validation departments

Experience & Skills:

  • Degree in Project Management or Engineering preferred
  • Experience within a GMP environment
  • Significant experience in delivering large CAPEX projects
  • Sound knowledge of structured project management, engineering, design, procurement, safety, construction and installation
  • Demonstrate experience of managing projects throughout full project life cycle across complex multi discipline projects
