We are pretty unique; we are an independent, non-profit, government-backed organisation that helps households and small businesses across Great Britain to understand how smart meters can benefit them, their families and the environment. We do this through delivering innovative marketing and communications campaigns, with a keen understanding of the behaviour change required in households up and down the country. We are seeking a talented and motivated Head of Finance and Operations with a self-starter approach to join our team and help guide the organisation through exciting and challenging times ahead. The Head of Finance and Operations is a role at the heart of our team. It will be responsible for overseeing the financial stewardship of the organisation while also setting the tone through managing our day-to-day operations which will enable everyone to come to work with a smile on their face. The successful candidate will also be integral in providing support to the change and transformation ahead of us. They will deputise for the Director of Operations and build relationships with the SLT and across the organisation as a whole. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant and be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role;
  • Experience of organisational change and transformation;
  • Understanding and experience of strategic risk management, finance audit and internal controls
