Colleague Engagement Manager

Job Description As a communications professional, you’ll be responsible for the design and delivery of colleague communications and engagements to help increase employee sentiment and secure a cultural shift.
You’ll write and deliver communications, work collaboratively and effectively across Functions and advise and influence key stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes are achieved in line with Nationwide’s Blueprint. You’ll work within a small team to develop and deliver engaging communication strategies. You will be part of our Colleague Engagement team and work alongside, strategy and insights, digital production, and event professionals.
This role is within the Customer Brand and Engagement Function, which is responsible for building and maintaining Nationwide’s brand and reputation both for customers and colleagues.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract within the Colleague Engagement team who strive to increase all-employee engagement, drive advocacy, and build commitment to Nationwide’s purpose, strategy, and underpinning priorities. For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, at one of our offices. You’ll create and tailor engaging, and insight led communications that align with Nationwide’s strategic objectives and internal tone of voice.
You’ll ensure that all communications effectively resonate with colleagues and drive advocacy.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information in spoken, written or visual form to a variety of audiences.
Strong experience in creating and tailoring impactful, and insight led communications that align with Nationwide’s strategic objectives and internal tone of voice.
Strong experience in implementing colleague communication strategies and campaigns to drive engagement and cultural change.
It’s also about being clear, precise, and using language that we and, importantly, our customers and members can understand.
