CQC play a crucial role in the UK health and social care sector, ensuring health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and they encourage care services to improve.

Salary : Up to £57,891 (Outside of London) or up to £63,293 (London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25). For exceptional candidates a higher salary may be available.
There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £553 per annum for those working from home.
Location: CQC offer remote working but there will be a requirement to occasionally be onsite at one of their main office locations (London, Leeds and Newcastle). Any travel would be fully expensed and timings flexible to allow people to travel at realistic times.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead processes to ensure a systematic approach to the change and retirement of IT services/products.
- Serve as the Technology Unit's primary contact for all IT service design and transition requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure that all appropriate IT support models, IT governance, and IT assurance elements are in place to support the release of IT services/products.
- Collaborate with programme, project, and delivery teams, as well as internal technology teams, to ensure effective acceptance into service testing.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to address and mitigate risks during IT service design and transition.
Required Skills/Experience
- Dedicated background in an IT Service Design & Transition role
- Extensive understanding of service management framework principles, and the ability to applying this within a complex operational customer service delivery context.
- ITIL Certifications
- Prior experience working across a complex multi-supplier environment
