About The Role

Estate Security Manager

The role holder will develop and lead operational excellence and best practice within a designated portfolio; optimising our service and value offering to customers to achieve performance targets. You will bring innovation and leadership and ensure a high-performance culture within your remit. This is an active and visible role requiring strong leadership competence in addition to entrepreneurial ability. Client interaction is significant and excellent relationship management skills are required.

Role and Responsibilities:

To manage a team of Security and related personnel, in providing a quality service to the assignment falling within the remit of the role, whilst managing the related costs. Operational responsibility for the contracted hours, additional hours, materials and equipment provided to the client within the assignment, working alongside and reporting to the Strategic Account Manager.

Creation and implementation of a Security Strategy that meets the client's expectations and Company vision.
This role will require significant interaction at all levels within the Company and with internal stakeholders, external clients and suppliers.
Maximise performance of the team through positive and effective leadership, combined with support and coaching. Strategy implementation.
Responsible for leading and building excellent relations with all Service Partners building on the clients 'One Team' ethos.
Endorse and promote new group initiatives and ensure they are implemented within the business.
Conduct Investigations and disciplinary hearings using the appropriate documentation. Seek HR guidance to resolve uncertainties.
Carry out Welfare Reports, Annual Goal Setting & Appraisals, Performance Improvement Plans and Probation Reviews with staff in assignment
Implement and manage robust induction training for new employees and personal development plans for all other team members Training programme implemented for all employees and maintain all the site training documentation.
Produce and present monthly client reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Assist the Account Manager with Financial Reports.
Communicate Health and Safety matters in a timely matter through the correct communication chain.
Conduct monthly quality audits in full.
Manage Site Communication process in line with the client incident management frame work and Bidvest Noonan escalation plan.
Create, manage and maintain Site Specific Emergency Procedure and incident management documentation

Person Specification

Security Management experience within the Corporate Sector.
Experience of managing budgets with the ability to demonstrate and implement initiatives to measure and improve account financial targets.
Proven track record of successfully managing large teams in a commercial, customer facing role within a security service provider capacity.
Possess excellent leadership and motivational skills in order to create a high performing team and will coach and develop team members to achieve their potential and will have an inspiring and engaging management style.
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, often in challenging situations, as well as being a collaborative team player who will support colleagues and provide ideas to improve the whole team effort.
Strong knowledge in Risk Management.
Familiarity of access control, CCTV and intrusion detection systems.
Customer focused.
Full Security training and licences in place.
Demonstrate a strong aptitude for multi-tasking.
Strong communication and influencing skills.

Credentials

Valid SIA License
IOSH Managing Safely
Mental Health First Aid
ILM Level 4 Certificate in Leadership and Management

Desirable

Knowledge of Project Management principles
Kiatsu RED2 Crisis Management
NEBOSH General Certificate
