Marine Engineer

Our esteemed client is seeking a talented Marine Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of their expanding fleet of Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) across the UK and Europe. As a Marine Engineer, you'll report directly to the Technical Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring the operational readiness and efficiency of our vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake general vessel maintenance, inspections, and repairs, including engine replacements and installations.

Diagnose and rectify faults in vessel electrical, hydraulic, and heating systems.

Collaborate closely with crew members to identify operational challenges and provide training on vessel servicing and checks.

Be willing to travel and work at multiple locations across the UK and Europe, with a flexible approach to working hours, including emergency repairs.

Maintain and promote QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) standards on all vessels and sites, fostering a culture of safety and compliance. Skills and Experience:

Essential:

Demonstrated experience in engineering roles, preferably within the marine industry.

Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

Strong teamwork skills and a proactive mindset.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.

Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

Possession of a full, valid driving license. Desirable:

Preferably holds an L3 Diploma/NVQ in Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Previous experience in a marine-related role would be advantageous. Benefits:
